The Many Names of UsoppUsopp seems to get nearly the worst treatment of any One Piece character when it comes to names... there exist so many different names for Usopp out there compared to everyone else, and for no apparent reason! Here, I'm listing a small sample of Usopp's many names, so you can see just how strange some of them are.
Crook Bu - One of Usopp's names from the Chinese One Piece bootleg DVDs.Crook Boo - a variation of Crook Bu.Liar Bu - Another name from the Chinese bootlegs.Liar Boo - a variation of Liar Bu.Pipo - Usopp's name in the French version of the manga.Usop - a variation on Usopp.Usopp - Duh.Usoppu - WHAA? WHO DARES TO CALL ME PU? Ehhh... sorry, UsopPU, that's just the way it is. Some Japanese people spell your name that way. >:-( GRRR...Lysop - Usopp's name in the German version of the manga. Reminds me of a popular air-freshener...Cheat Cloth - Yet another name for Usopp from the bootleg DVDs... I guess Usopp tells fabrications so much that he's become one! Hmm.. I don't get it. Hey, wait, yes I do. And that's mean!!!Asop - Usopp's name in the Italian version of One Piece. Aesop's Fables come to mind... FABLES?! Are you accusing me of lying?! Oh, little ol' me? Accuse you of lying? Now, why would *I* do such a thing? I just said that your Italian name REMINDS me of Aesop's Fables, that's all... besides, his fables teach good moral lessons to children, so there's nothing to be ashamed about.
